“…For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.” Matthew 12:34 NLT

It so easy to become caught up in what is going on around you–in your home, in your family, in your community, in your country, and in your world. If you are not careful, you can find yourself in conversations that causes fear, doubt, and worry to penetrate into your thoughts and settle in your heart. And it’s so easy to fall into this trap.
However, as children of God, we must put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18) and not allow ourselves to be consumed by the cares of this world. We must stand up for what we know to be true and continue to proclaim the Word of the Lord over our lives and our situations. Do not allow fear to dictate whose report you will believe. Do not allow worry to cause you to waver in your faith. Do not allow others thoughts and perceptions that contradict the Word to become your thoughts and way of living. Do not let the words of the naysayers and unbelievers become louder than the words of the true and living God who dwells inside of you.
Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I change not…” (KJV); He is the same God that was with you 10 years ago, 10 months ago, 10 days ago, and 10 minutes ago. If he brought you out and through every situation before, won’t He do it again?
Make Philippians 4:6-7 a part of your daily confessions-“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life” (The Message).

What a timely word of encouragement. We all need these reminders as we are bombarded daily with negative reports. I agree with you that I will believe the report of the Lord. Blessings in Jesus name
